She is a Member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has been involved in numerous fundraising initiatives to combat the disease and testified before an Congressional Special Committee about AIDS Education. She is a member of the board of Governors of APLA along with Amfar. C. Everett Koop's former assistant surgeon general asked her occasionally to substitute for him at AIDS awareness programs. Additionally, she was the host of an AIDS Awareness Special presented by Steve Bell. She has appeared twice on Nightline with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS.
