Allana played for Australia in Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana to miss many years prior to making her return to rugby league. Allana participated in her first female match in the 2015 season of rugby league and was a star in the game for New South Wales against Queensland. Allana also has radio in her profile, with regular appearances on the 2GB's highest-rated Continuous Call Team. Allana, who is not only a sporty person as well as a teacher who has a the degree of an educator, has an extensive background outside sport. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare distinction to have represented Australia in three distinct sports events: Rugby Sevens, Rugby League and Touch.
